Hourly Wage Calculator is an independent calculator and educational site operated by Mockup Maestro. We build free tools for comparing gross pay without collecting the wage figures people enter.
What we publish
The site focuses on three jobs: converting pay periods, comparing work schedules, and explaining what a simple conversion leaves out. Our calculators run in the browser and show gross estimates before taxes and deductions. We do not present a wage conversion as a tax estimate, payroll statement, legal conclusion, or guarantee of take-home pay.
Editorial and calculation standards
- Show the formula. Readers should be able to reproduce a result with a basic calculator.
- Name the assumptions. Hours per week, paid weeks, and pay periods must remain visible and editable.
- Separate facts from examples. An overtime multiplier is an input, not a determination that a worker is eligible for overtime.
- Keep rounding honest. Calculations retain precision and round only the displayed result.
- Link primary sources. When a guide discusses a US labor-law baseline, it links to the US Department of Labor.
- Review substantive changes. Calculator changes are tested against known examples before publication.
Corrections
If a result, formula, link, or explanation appears wrong, email[email protected] and include the page URL, inputs used, and expected result. We review reproducible calculation reports first.
Funding
The tools are free. The site may use clearly identified advertising to cover hosting and development. Ads do not change calculator outputs or our editorial conclusions.
